Once Sport at the Internationaler Trainer-Kongress 2025 – What we learned and who we met!

After an inspiring few days in Leipzig , we’re back from the Internationaler Trainer-Kongress 2025– and what an experience it was.
Hosted by the Bund Deutscher Fußball-Lehrer (BDFL) , ITK remains one of the most important gatherings for football coaches and analysts in Europe. Held at the Kongresshalle at the Leipzig Zoo and the RB Leipzig training center , the event brought together over 1,000 coaches, educators, and football enthusiasts for three days of intensive learning, sharing, and networking.
Big Names, Bold Ideas
From amazing speeches to pitch sessions, this year’s edition was packed with quality. Highlights included talks from Julian Nagelsmann (Germany men’s national coach), Roger Schmidt (former Benfica manager), and insights from clubs and organizations like FIFA , Brighton & Hove Albion , Udinese , and SC Freiburg .
Sessions ranged from tactical analysis and psychological preparation to youth development and positional play. The practical demonstrations led by RB Leipzig’s academy and women’s team coaches stood out for their clarity and intensity, and the parallel workshop tracks made it possible for attendees to dive deep into topics relevant to their specific coaching paths.
A very nice touch to the whole event was an evening hangout at the Red Bull Arena in Leipzig, where we enjoyed this beautiful stadium in great company.
Once Sport on the Ground
We were proud to be present with our full suite of coaching tools: Once Sport Analyser ,Once Sport Telestrator ,Once Sport Coach Board ,Once Sport Autocam.
Across the three days, our team had the chance to speak with coaches, analysts, and technical directors from all over Europe. It was exciting to hear how many are already familiar with Once Sport, and even more rewarding to introduce others to the possibilities our tools offer in performance analysis, match prep, and tactical communication.
There was strong interest in Once Sport Autocam and Once Sport Coach Board , especially among youth and academy coaches looking to raise the standard of their presentations and game insights.
Connecting and Growing
As always, one of the best parts of events like ITK is the personal connection. Whether it was informal chats over coffee, structured Q&A sessions, or networking events, we came away energised by the openness and curiosity of the coaching community.
